PSI China Awarded new Contract in Chinese Aluminium Sector from the Alnan
Group
Guangxi Alnan Aluminum Fabrication Co., LTD. decides in favour of PSImetals
PSI subsidiary PSI China has been awarded by the Chinese Guangxi Alnan
Aluminium Fabrication Co., LTD. with the implementation of the production
management solution PSImetals for all four Alnan plants such as cast house,
extrusion plant, hot rolling mill and cold rolling mill. The project scope
includes the complete portfolio of PSImetals from integrated planning,
production execution, quality management including order dressing,
logistics and energy management.
Alnan decided in favour of the powerful solution due to PSI's deep and long
term aluminium knowledge. The project will be divided into two phases:
casting and extrusion houses, HRM and CRM as well as planning. The project
kick-off is April, 2012.
Guangxi Alnan Aluminum Fabrication Co., LTD. is located in the aluminium
industry park in Nanning, Guangxi province in the south of China. The newly
constructed plant has 200,000 tons annual output and produces mainly high
performance aluminium alloy plates, further processed aluminium strips and
large-scale extrusion profiles. With high quality products, Alnan is
focusing the future markets in the aviation and transportation industry
(high speed railway wagons and trains) and the automotive industry.
With this order PSI China will strengthen its market position in the
Chinese aluminium industry after PSImetals has been already implemented
successfully in many aluminium production sites including Asia Aluminium in
China.
