ANNOUNCES INCREASE IN QUARTERLY DISTRIBUTION

Martin Midstream Partners L.P. (NASDAQ: MMLP) announced today that it has declared a quarterly cash
distribution of $0.64 per unit for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. The May distribution reflects
an increase of $0.02 per unit over MMLPs February 2007 distribution. The distribution is payable
on May 15, 2007 to common and subordinated unitholders of record as of the close of business on May
1, 2007. The May distribution is based on the current operating performance of, and the current
general economic, industry and market conditions impacting MMLP and reflects an annualized
distribution rate of $2.56 per unit.
