ANNOUNCES INCREASE IN QUARTERLY DISTRIBUTION
TO BE PAID ON

Martin Midstream Partners L.P. (NASDAQ: MMLP) announced today that it has declared a quarterly cash
distribution of $0.68 per unit for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. The November distribution
reflects an increase of $0.02 per unit over MMLPs August 2007 distribution and is 11% greater than
the distribution for the comparable quarter of the prior year. The distribution is payable on
November 14, 2007 to common and subordinated unitholders of record as of the close of business on
October 31, 2007. The November distribution is based on the current operating performance of, and
the current general economic, industry and market conditions impacting MMLP and reflects an
annualized distribution rate of $2.72 per unit.
