Extension of the investigation period for Xella’s merger notification targeting
H+H 

Reference is made to prior company announcements informing of Xella
International Holdings S.à.r.l.’s merger notification targeting H+H
International A/S and the preliminary negative assessment by the
Bundeskartellamt (the German federal cartel office) of the merger notification. 

The review period with the Bundeskartellamt has continuously been extended and
the Bundeskartellamt has last informed that the investigation period for the
merger notification has been extended until 29 February 2012.
