Profit (loss) from operations is sales less cost of sales, engineering and development, selling, general and administrative expenses but is not affected by either non-operating charges/income or by income taxes. Non-operating charges/income consists principally of investment income and interest expense. All intercompany transactions have been eliminated. Our long-lived assets are located in North America.

In addition, accounts receivable from Customer A totaled approximately $15.8 million, or 52%, and approximately $16.2 million, or 62%, of total consolidated accounts receivable as of September 30, 2022 and September 30, 2021, respectively. We believe that the Company is not exposed to any significant credit risk with respect to the accounts receivable with this customer as of September 30, 2022. No other customers accounted for 10% or more of total consolidated accounts receivable as of September 30, 2022.
