October 7, 2011 Company announcement No. 11-11 In the Government's newly published Work Plan it is stated that the Government plans to examine whether a scheme for “yes-please” to unaddressed printed matter can be established. Today Danish media brought articles about how such a potential scheme could affect FK Distribution A/S. Numerous and repeated consumer surveys clearly show that the unaddressed printed matter is beneficial for the consumers. The consumers obtain quick and convenient information about product range and offers or bargains and in average a household may save approximately DKK 11,000 per year. The fact that only about 20% of all households decline printed matter shows how popular the unaddressed printed matter is among the vast majority of the population. This includes especially families and households that run on a tight budget. It is unknown whether a scheme for “yes-please” to unaddressed printed matter will be established and if so how such a scheme eventually would be designed. At this stage it is therefore not possible to assess how this might affect FK Distribution A/S. For further information please contact CEO Lars Nymann Andersen and CFO Kåre Wigh at tel.
