Concentration Risk Disclosure [Text Block]	NOTE 18 – CONCENTRATIONS OF SOURCING RISK We source imported products through over 24 different vendors, from 26 separate factories, located in five countries. Because of the large number and diverse nature of the foreign factories from which we can source our imported products, we have some flexibility in the placement of products in any particular factory or country. Factories located in China are an important resource for Hooker Furniture. In fiscal year 2014, imported products sourced from China accounted for approximately 74% of import purchases, and the factory in China from which we directly source the most product accounted for approximately 57% of our worldwide purchases of imported product. A disruption in our supply chain from this factory, or from China in general, could significantly impact our ability to fill customer orders for products manufactured at that factory or in that country.

The entire disclosure for any concentrations existing at the date of the financial statements that make an entity vulnerable to a reasonably possible, near-term, severe impact. This disclosure informs financial statement users about the general nature of the risk associated with the concentration, and may indicate the percentage of concentration risk as of the balance sheet date.
