M-ATV SOTM Order Status.

On October 20, 2009, Ultralife Corporation (the “Company”) commented on
the MRAP All Terrain Vehicle (“M-ATV”) SATCOM-On-The-Move (“SOTM”) order
status. In response to a program status requested by an elected
representative on the Company’s behalf, management has been informed
that the U.S. Defense Department had intended to place orders for the
Company’s SOTM systems through the Company’s defense contractor
customer. However, since there was only one contract in place in time
to meet the delivery for SOTM systems under the M-ATV program, orders
are being placed with a defense contractor other than the Company’s
customer. The Company’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to
this Form 8-K.

New SOTM Order.

On October 20, 2009, the Company also announced the receipt of an order
for SOTM systems from a U.S. defense contractor pursuant to that
contractor’s Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to supply
those systems for use in a variety of military vehicles unrelated to the
M-ATV program. The Company's press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2
to this Form 8-K.

Corporation Comments on M-ATV SATCOM-On-The-Move System Order Status

NEWARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 20, 2009--Ultralife Corporation
(NASDAQ: ULBI) commented on the M-ATV SATCOM-On-The-Move System (SOTM)
order status. In response to a program status requested by an elected
representative on the company’s behalf, management has been informed
that the U.S. Defense Department had intended to place orders for the
company’s SOTM systems through the company’s defense contractor
customer. However, since there was only one contract in place in time to
meet the delivery schedule for SOTM systems under the MRAP All Terrain
Vehicle (M-ATV) program, orders are being placed with a defense
contractor other than the company’s customer. Ultralife does not have
information through any official government posting to confirm details
of orders for SOTM systems under the M-ATV program.

Additionally, Ultralife had been shipping SATCOM system cables to the
vehicle prime contractor for the M-ATV program for installation during
vehicle assembly. Management has been notified by the vehicle prime
contractor that it will not be placing additional orders for cables
related to the M-ATV program.

Separately, Ultralife is announcing today that it has received an order
for SOTM systems unrelated to the M-ATV program valued at approximately
$20 million.

NEWARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 20, 2009--Ultralife Corporation
(NASDAQ: ULBI) has received an order valued at approximately $20 million
for its SATCOM-On-The-Move systems from a U.S. defense contractor under
its Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for use in a
variety of military vehicles unrelated to the MRAP All Terrain Vehicle
(M-ATV) program. The company received an additional order valued at
approximately $2 million for its SATCOM-On-The-Move systems directly
from the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR),
which was shipped in the third quarter. Deliveries against the $20
million IDIQ order are expected to begin this quarter and be completed
in the first quarter of 2010.

“These orders illustrate the broad need for SATCOM systems in various
military vehicle programs. Our SATCOM systems will be installed in a
variety of existing vehicles, such as HUMVEEs and MRAPs,” said John D.
Kavazanjian, president and chief executive officer. “We are pleased that
our battle-tested SATCOM systems combined with our proven ability to
meet customer requirements continue to gain recognition for being one of
the preferred choices for critical defense communications applications.
We are continuing to aggressively tackle sales opportunities with both
U.S. and allied defense organizations for our SATCOM and other advanced
communications systems.”
