Friedman (the &quot;Reporting Person&quot;) is the managing member of FJ Capital Management LLC (&quot;FJ Capital&quot;), which is the managing member of and investment adviser to Financial Opportunity Fund LLC (&quot;FOF&quot;) and sub-investment adviser to Bridge Equities XI, LLC (&quot;Bridge&quot;), each of which beneficially owns 1,936,721 and 236,848 shares (collectively, the &quot;Shares&quot;) of the common stock of Riverview Bancorp, Inc. (the &quot;Issuer&quot;), respectively. On October 28, 2022, the Issuer filed its second quarter earnings release.  Upon review of the release, FJ Capital discovered that the Issuer had completed a stock repurchase which resulted in FJ Capital's beneficial ownership of the shares of the Issuer exceeding the 10% beneficial ownership threshold for purposes of Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (&quot;Section 16&quot;).</footnote>
