NOTE 12—SEGMENT AND GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

Based on its operating management and financial reporting structure, the Company has determined that it has one reportable business segment: the design, development and sale of integrated circuits.

The key measure of segment profit or loss utilized by the CODM to assess performance of and allocate resources to the Company’s operating segment is consolidated net income (loss). Net income (loss) is used in monitoring budget versus actual results. This measure is presented on the condensed consolidated statements of operations and comprehensive loss. Significant segment expenses included in net income (loss) include cost of revenue, research and development, selling, general and administrative expense, interest income, other income (expense), net, and income tax provision, which are presented on the condensed consolidated statements of operations and comprehensive loss. The measure of segment assets is reported on the condensed consolidated balance sheets as total consolidated assets.
