The Supervisory Board of Tivoli A/S has considered and adopted the Annual Report for 2011 at a board meeting on 20 March 2012. Results for the year in outline: -- Attendance figures: 3,963,000 visitors compared to 3, 696,000 last year -- Revenue including tenants and lessees: DKK 1,001.3 million compared to DKK 973.1 million last year -- EBIT: DKK 40.8 million compared to DKK 17.5 million last year -- Profit before tax: DKK 33.5 million compared to DKK 9.2 million last year -- Profit after tax: DKK 24.5 million compared to DKK 6.0 million last year "The 2011 season offered many challenges for Tivoli, not least the cloudburst on 2 July 2011 and the subsequent very rainy summer season. However, the number of visitors to Tivoli increased by a total of 267,000 compared with the 2010 season. This is particularly positive considering the continuing financial crises. The profit of the year, DKK 33.5 million, is an improvement compared with last year and corresponds to previously announced expectations of 17 January 2012. I'm pleased that Tivoli - despite the general economic sluggishness and the wet summer - has been able to attract and excite 4 million visitors during 2011", says Lars Liebst, Tivoli's managing director. He continues: "In 2012 we expect the number of visitors to be at the same level as in 2011. In the 2012 season Tivoli will prolong Halloween by another week. The entertainment programme is strengthened by numerous activities in our halls. Besides, we'll have two new restaurant concepts and continue to focus on the cruise segment." Outlook for 2012 The weather and other external events may have a considerable impact on Tivoli's business and, consequently, the development of the result. We expect that 2012 will see turnover and income before taxes at the 2011 level.
