PVA TePla Equips Leading Semiconductor Manufacturer with Crystal Growing Systems

PVA Crystal Growing Systems GmbH, Wettenberg, a subsidiary of PVA TePla AG, has landed an order as part of a project to supply the semiconductor manufacturer with crystal growing systems. Silicon crystals are grown in these process systems, used to manufacture 300mm wafers for the semiconductor industry. Deliveries will start in the last quarter of 2018, and the order will be completed in the subsequent year. The order also includes a high-temperature vacuum cleaning furnace. This will be manufactured by PVA Industrial Vacuum Systems GmbH, also based in Wettenberg.

Incoming Orders for the Year as a Whole – Significant Increase in All Product Areas

For fiscal 2017, the Management Board of PVA TePla AG expects incoming orders of well over EUR 100 million compared with EUR 70.5 million in the previous year. Both business units – Industrial as well as Semiconductor Systems – are contributing to this significant increase.
