Note 9. Fee Income

Fee income consists of origination/closing fees, amendment fees, prepayment penalty and other miscellaneous fees which are non-recurring in nature, as well as administrative agent fees, which are recurring in nature. The following table summarizes the Company’s fee income for the three months ended December 31, 2022, and 2021 (dollars in thousands):
