Depreciation expenses related to property and equipment amounted to approximately $2.6 million, $2.2 million, and $2.4 million for the years ended December 31, 2021, 2020 and 2019, respectively. Construction in process is related to research and development and manufactory equipment. Depreciation expense is recorded to cost of goods sold, research and development and general and administrative expense line items on the Consolidated Statements of Operations (in thousands).
