Short-Term Investments As of September 30, 2015 and June 30, 2015, the Company’s short-term investments consisted of $40.1 million and $45.1 million, respectively, in U.S. government securities. The short-term investments held as of September 30, 2015 and June 30, 2015 had maturity dates of less than one year and are considered to be “held to maturity.” Due to the short-term maturities of these instruments, the amortized cost approximates the related fair values. As of September 30, 2015 and June 30, 2015, the gross holding gains and losses were immaterial.
