Merger of INFO AG with QSC AG concluded QSC now offers one-stop shopping for the entire spectrum of ICT products and services Cologne, August 6, 2013 – The merger of Hamburg-based INFO AG with QSC AG of Cologne went into force today upon entry in the Cologne Commercial Register. The INFO AG corporation thus became defunct; nor will the INFO AG corporate name be continued. The primary domicile of QSC AG continues to be Cologne. The headquarters and locations of former INFO AG will remain in place. The new QSC AG is now one of the largest SME providers of one-stop shopping for ICT services in Germany. Since July 2012, QSC AG had held 100 percent of the shares of INFO AG, a provider of IT Outsourcing and IT Consulting and a certified SAP and Microsoft Partner domiciled in Hamburg. ‘Through the merger of INFO AG with QSC AG, we have finalized QSC’s transformation process from a pure TC provider into an integrated ICT provider,’ explains Jürgen Hermann, Chief Executive Officer of QSC AG. ‘Moreover, we can now design our internal organizational structures, our decision-making processes and steering mechanisms considerably more effectively, enabling us to focus even better than in the past on evolving our ICT business.’ While QSC AG possesses long years of know-how in telecommunications and a cutting-edge voice-data infrastructure, the portfolio of former INFO AG includes the fields of data center operation as well as planning, implementing and operating sophisticated IT solutions. This bundling of IT and TC expertise is unrivalled in Germany, offering the best prerequisites for developing and operating future-fit Cloud services and complete ICT services offering end-to-end quality, from the connection to the service right through to the end-user device. Available for this purpose, among other resources, are our own TÜV- and ISO-certified data centers in Hamburg, Nuremberg and Munich.
Today, the clientele of QSC AG includes more than 30,000 business customers in a wide range of industries: from banking, commerce and insurance right through to automotive engineering and energy. The Management Board of the new QSC AG still consists of Jürgen Hermann, Chief Operation Officer, Barbara Stolz, Chief Financial Officer, and Arnold Stender, Member of the Board.
