RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS During fiscal 2015, 2014 and 2013, the Company made consulting payments of $100,000 per year to Bioplastic Polymers LLC, an entity owned by Ramani Narayan, Ph.D., a director of the Company, and paid royalties of $21,327, $14,388, and $10,244, respectively, based on net sales of the Company’s bioplastics products.
