17. Related Party

As of September 30, 2021 and December 31, 2020, Regeneron owned 883,568 shares of the Company’s common stock, respectively. Regeneron became a related party in July 2019 as a result of Series B redeemable convertible preferred stock financing. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2021, the Company recorded revenue from the Regeneron Agreement of $3.4 million and $4.3 million, respectively. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2020, the Company recognized revenue from the Regeneron Agreement of $3.0 million and $12.5 million, respectively. As of September 30, 2021, the Company has deferred revenue of $10.1 million related to the Regeneron Agreement. See Note 10 for a discussion of the Regeneron Agreement.
