Recent Accounting Pronouncements Not Yet Adopted
In June 2016, the FASB issued ASU 2016-13, Financial Instruments – Credit Losses. This new guidance will require financial instruments to be measured at amortized cost, and trade accounts receivable to be presented at the net amount expected to be collected. The new model requires an entity to estimate credit losses based on historical information, current information and reasonable and supportable forecasts, including estimates of prepayments. In
November 2019, the FASB issued ASU 2019-10, according to which, the new standard is effective for public business entities that meet the definition of an SEC filer, excluding entities eligible to be smaller reporting companies (“SRC”) as defined by the SEC, for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2019, including interim periods within those fiscal years. For all other entities, including the Company, the new standard is effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2022, and interim periods within that fiscal year. The standard will become effective for the Company beginning January 1, 2023. Adoption of this standard is not expected to have a material impact on the Company’s consolidated financial statements.
All other newly issued accounting pronouncements not yet effective have been deemed either immaterial or not applicable.
