Common stock, treasury stock and warrants Common stock As of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, the number of issued shares of common stock was 55,528,094 and 53,717,996, respectively, which included shares of treasury stock of 348,002 and 160,235, respectively. The change in the number of issued shares of common stock during the six months ended June 30, 2017 was due to the issuance of an aggregate of 1,810,098 shares of common stock from the vesting of restricted stock units (“RSUs”), of which, 187,767 shares of common stock were withheld to pay withholding taxes upon such vesting, which are reflected in treasury stock. Treasury stock As of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, the Company held shares of treasury stock of 348,002 and 160,235, with a cost of $1,254 and $531, respectively. This increase in treasury stock during the six months ended June 30, 2017 was due to shares withheld to pay withholding taxes upon the vesting of RSUs. Warrants As of June 30, 2017 and December 31, 2016, warrants to purchase an aggregate of 2,220,102 shares of common stock were outstanding, with exercise prices ranging from $3.75 to $10.00 per share.
