Goodwill	Goodwill Goodwill represents the difference between the purchase price and the estimated fair value of net assets acquired, when accounted for by the acquisition method of accounting. As of December 31, 2018 and 2017, the goodwill balance relates to the Interactive Data Acquisition, the Fluent Acquisition and the Q Interactive Acquisition. In connection with the Spin-off of Red Violet, goodwill of $6,465 was derecognized, based on the relative fair value of Red Violet's portion of the Information Services reporting unit as compared to the total estimated fair value of the Information Services reporting unit. As of December 31, 2017, this amount was reclassified into non-current assets of discontinued operations in the consolidated balance sheets.
