Landsberg, September 12, 2011. RATIONAL AG, the world market leader in combi-steam technology, is opening a new chapter in terms of efficiency and culinary delight with the new SelfCooking Center ^(R) whitefficiency ^(R) .

HiDensityControl ^(R) – The quantum leap in cooking perfection
RATIONAL has managed a quantum leap in terms of cooking perfection thanks to its pioneering innovation, the patented HiDensityControl ^(R) system. HiDensityControl ^(R) allows an increase in load of 30 per cent compared with conventional combi-steamers, despite the cooking cabinet remaining the same size and resource consumption being reduced by 20 per cent.

HiDensityControl ^(R) has significantly extended the application spectrum of the new units. In addition to fresh pasta, which can now be prepared using the new controlled powerful steam generator, baking is one of the special strengths of the new SelfCookingCenter ^(R) whitefficiency ^(R) . RATIONAL is thus boosting its attractiveness for the continually growing market segment of snack shops and bakery businesses.

Efficient LevelControl ^(R) – Intelligent mixed loads
Intelligent mixed loads with the new Efficient LevelControl ^(R) allows food to be cooked up to 30 per cent faster. Each rack level is individually monitored. Efficient LevelControl ^(R) corrects the cooking time according to the amount of food and how often, and for how long, the door is opened, ensuring that everything is cooked to perfection – every time.

‘My Display’ – Personalised user interface
Using the new SelfCooking Center ^(R) whitefficiency ^(R) is particularly easy. It is continually learning and adapting itself automatically to individual operating behaviour. The user interface can be tailor-made if required. Functions that are not required are simply removed from the display by the customer, making the SelfCookingCenter ^(R) whitefficiency ^(R) safe to use even for temporary staff.

Cleaning intelligence thanks to CareControl
The new CareControl feature brings a significant increase in efficiency. It detects the soiling and care status and suggests suitable cleaning levels accordingly. This saves up to 20 per cent energy, water and cleaning agent compared with the previous system.

Technological lead further extended
With the new SelfCookingCenter ^(R) whitefficiency ^(R) RATIONAL is extending its technological lead over competitors even further, thus increasing attractiveness on the market.
