Allianz Global Investors GmbH based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, informed
us by letter dated 14 October 2015 that its percentage of voting rights in
RATIONAL Aktiengesellschaft fell below the 3% threshold to a percentage of
2.99% as per settlement date 13 October 2015. This corresponds to 339,950
out of a total of 11,370,000 voting rights issued by the company. Of these
voting rights 2.43% is to be attributed to Allianz Global Investors GmbH
pursuant to Section 22 (1) sentence 1, No. 6 WpHG. This corresponds to
276,533 out of a total of 11,370,000 voting rights issued by the company.
