It is with deep sadness that RATIONAL AG announces the death of Mr Siegfried Meister. The founder, majority shareholder and chairman of the Supervisory Board passed away today after a short, severe illness at the age of 78.

Mr Walter Kurtz, member of the Supervisory Board and shareholder since RATIONAL AG’s foundation will take over as an interim head of the Supervisory Board in his function as vice chairman. The Supervisory and Management Boards and the workforce mourn the loss of an outstanding entrepreneur and will continue to run the company in Mr Meister’s spirit.
