NATURE OF BUSINESS	1. NATURE OF BUSINESS We are a leading supplier of products for the biometrics and Digital Subscriber Line (“DSL”) service assurance industries. We sell software products for biometrics and imaging applications and hardware and software products for DSL service assurance applications. We sell our software products for biometrics, medical and digital imaging applications and professional services for biometrics through a systems integrator, OEM, and direct sales channel. We sell our DSL service assurance hardware products primarily through an OEM sales channel. We sell our DSL service assurance software products directly to DSL service providers and through an OEM sales channel. We also sell and/or license patents related to communications, signal processing, and compression technologies.
