OTHER INCOME	5. OTHER INCOME Other income in the consolidated statements of operations reports certain gains and losses associated with activities not directly related to our core operations. For the year ended December 31, 2021, other income was $1.3 million, as compared to other income of $969 during the year ended December 31, 2020. For the year ended December 31, 2021, included in other income was a gain of $1.4 million for the extinguishment and forgiveness of the PPP Loan. For the year ended December 31, 2020, included in other income was a gain of $968 related to the sale and mark to market adjustment on the fair value of the CleanSpark Common Stock and warrants.

The entire disclosure for the components of non-operating income or non-operating expense, including, but not limited to, amounts earned from dividends, interest on securities, gain (loss) on securities sold, equity earnings of unconsolidated affiliates, gain (loss) on sales of business, interest expense and other miscellaneous income or expense items.
