OTHER EXPENSE (INCOME) Other expense (income) in the consolidated statements of operations reports certain gains and losses associated with activities not directly related to our core operations. For the year ended December 31, 2022, other expense was $67, as compared to other income of $1.3 million during the year ended December 31, 2021. For the year ended December 31, 2021, included in other income was a gain of $1.4 million for the extinguishment and forgiveness of the PPP Loan.
