COVID-19	(18) COVID-19 In December 2019, a novel Coronavirus disease (“COVID-19”) was reported and on March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic. During 2020 and 2021, the Company’s operations were impacted by closures of clinics and reductions in elective surgeries which decreased availability of physicians to prescribe our products. Additionally, the Company had to navigate the impacts it had on employee and supply chain issues. While the Company did not see a significant impact on its operating results or financial position during the year ended December 31, 2021 from COVID-19, it is unable at this time to predict the impact that COVID-19 will have on its business, financial position and operating results in future periods due to numerous uncertainties. The Company has been and continues to closely monitor the impact of the pandemic on all aspects of its business.
