New turnover and results forecast prepared in accordance with the German
Commercial Code (HGB)
In the course of the switch to the Geregelter Markt planned for the 3rd
December 2001, Dino entertainment AG will in future prepare its balance sheet
in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) once more. Consequently the
turnover and results forecast for the whole of 2001 published today in the
nine-monthly interim report dated 30.09.2001 has already been prepared in
accordance with the regulations of the German Commercial Code HGB. As a result,
Dino is expecting a loss from normal business activity before Financial result
calculated in accordance with the German Commercial Code amounting to about
DM 10 million on a turnover in the region of DM 60 million.
At the date in question 30.09.2001, Dino had earned a sales revenue amounting
to DM 47.22 million (Previous year: DM 50.89 million). The EBIT for Dino,
worked out in accordance with US-GAAP and adjusted by the New Media activities,
now shows a loss of DM 3.64 million following a loss of DM 13.15 million in the
previous year. The result for the first nine months of the year has
deteriorated from a loss of DM 3.95 million in the comparable period of the
previous year down to a loss of DM 10.29 million now. This is the equivalent of
a loss per share of DM 2.29 (previous year a loss of DM 0.90).
