TC Gruppe files for insolvency
Stuttgart, January 22, 2009 - TC Gruppe GmbH, the advertising agency
Business Media China AG has a majority interest in, has filed for
insolvency today.
In the two years of shareholding it was not possible to get the TC Gruppe
GmbH profitable despite of great efforts and substantial investments by
Business Media China AG. For the fiscal year 2009 the TC Gruppe GmbH
requested a new extensive need for capital, but Business Media China AG
could not bear theses capital due to the current restructuring activities.
At present BMC Group undertakes pervasive restructuring activities in all
divisions. These activities are necessary against the background of the
tough economic year 2009.
