Accounts receivable consists of the following (in thousands):

Accounts receivable from the U.S. Government includes amounts due under long-term contracts, all of which are billed at December 31, 2013 and 2012, of $2,620,000 and $620,000 respectively.

The entire disclosure for claims held for amounts due a entity, excluding financing receivables. Examples include, but are not limited to, trade accounts receivables, notes receivables, loans receivables. Includes disclosure for allowance for credit losses.
