Segment Information
 
The Company is organized into
two
business segments, Sypris Technologies and Sypris Electronics. The segments are each managed separately because of the distinctions between the products, services, markets, customers, technologies, and workforce skills of the segments. Sypris Technologies provides manufacturing services for a variety of customers that outsource forged and finished steel components and subassemblies. Sypris Technologies also manufactures high-pressure closures and other fabricated products. Sypris Electronics provides manufacturing and technical services as an outsourced service provider. Additionally, prior to

Sypris Electronics also provided trusted solutions for identity management, cryptographic key distribution and cyber analytics along with manufacturing of complex data storage systems (see Note

Revenue derived from outsourced services for Sypris Technologies accounted for
52%

61%
of total net revenue in

respectively. Revenue derived from outsourced services for Sypris Electronics accounted for
24%
and
17%
of total net revenue in
2016
and
2015,
respectively. There was no intersegment net revenue recognized for any year presented.
