REALTECH AG: Provisional half-year and quarterly figures for 2006

REALTECH AG’s revenue increased in the 1st half of 2006 by 8% to EUR 26.0 million (1st half of 2005: EUR 24.1 million). This included an 8% increase in software revenue to EUR 5.3 million (EUR 4.9 million) and also an 8% increase in consulting revenue to EUR 20.7 million (EUR 19.3 million). EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) increased to EUR 1.7 million (EUR 0.6 million) while EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) rose to EUR 1.1 million (minus EUR 0.2 million). Net income amounted to EUR 0.6 million (minus EUR 0.1 million), while earnings per share were EUR 0.11 (minus EUR 0.01). The company achieved a cash flow of EUR 1.1 million (EUR 1.7 million). At the end of June 2006, net cash and cash equivalents stood at EUR 26.7 million, compared to EUR 26.0 million at the end of 2005 and EUR 23.2 million at the end of last June. 2nd quarter of 2006: Revenue increased 3% to EUR 12.9 million (2nd quarter of 2005: EUR 12.5 million). Software revenue increased by 8% to EUR 2.7 million (EUR 2.5 million). At EUR 10.2 million, consulting revenue was 2% up on the previous year’s figure (EUR 10.0 million). EBITDA and EBIT were both improved, to EUR 0.9 million (EUR 0.8 million) and EUR 0.7 million (EUR 0.4 million) respectively. Net income increased to EUR 0.5 million (EUR 0.4 million), corresponding to earnings per share of EUR 0.10 (EUR 0.07). The report on the 2nd quarter of 2006 will be published on August 3, 2006.
