The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security, description	The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (“CARES”) Act, enacted on March 27, 2020, was a $2.0 trillion relief bill responsible for sending $1,200 to Americans making $75,000 or less, adding $600 per week to unemployment benefits for four months, giving $100 billion to hospitals and health providers, making $500 billion of loans or investments to businesses, states and municipalities and $32 billion in grants to the airline industries and more.
