Business Description	Note 1 – Business Description CVD Equipment Corporation and its subsidiaries (the “Company”) is a New York corporation. Its principal business activities include designing, developing, and manufacturing a broad range of chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor transport, gas control, and other equipment and process solutions used to develop and manufacture materials and coatings for industrial applications and research. Its products are used in production environments as well as research and development centers, both academic and corporate. We conduct our business through three reportable operating segments: i) CVD Equipment that supplies chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor transport and thermal process equipment; ii) SDC that designs and manufactures ultra-high purity gas and chemical delivery control systems; and iii) CVD Materials that provide products related to advanced materials and coatings.
