Segment Reporting [Abstract]
Segment Information Segment Information
The Company has determined that it operates in a single reportable segment, which is the research and development of innovative drug candidates for the treatment of human cancer. Resources are allocated and performance is assessed by the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, whom the Company has determined to be its Chief Operating Decision Maker (CODM).
The CODM considers actual operating results on an annual basis on a consolidated basis, including consolidated net loss, when making decisions about allocating capital and personnel to the segment in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, which includes comparison of budget to actual and current period to prior period variances. The CODM assesses performance for the operating segment and decides, in part, how to allocate resources based on net loss that also is reported on the Condensed Consolidated Statement of Operations as net loss. The measure of segment assets is reported on the Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheets as total assets.
In addition to the significant categories included within net loss presented on the Company's Condensed Consolidated Statement of Operations, the following table is representative of the significant expense categories for the three and six months ended June 30, 2025 and 2024, including a reconciliation to Net loss:
