The Company has outstanding licensing and scientific research agreements with the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), a significant stockholder as of June 30, 2023. As of December 31, 2023, Penn was no longer a significant stockholder. No expense was recognized for the three months ended June 30, 2023. The Company recognized $0.3 million of research and development expenses for the six months ended June 30, 2023 related to the Penn License Agreement.
The Company has a collaboration and license agreement with Moderna, a significant stockholder (Note 10).
