Akastor ASA: Akastor sells 1 584 235 shares to employees

22 December 2014 - Akastor ASA has today sold 1 584 235 own shares in relation
with the company's share purchase programmes for employees and managers.
Following the transaction, Akastor ASA holds a total of 2 976 376 own shares.
The price was based on the average volume weighted share price on the Oslo Børs
(the stock exchange in Oslo) over the 5 days period from 15 December to 19
December 2014 giving a price per share of NOK 19.67. The shares purchased
through the Employee- and Manager Share Purchase Programs are subject to a three
year lock-up period from the date of delivery.  Akastor offers a 25 percent
price reduction of the trading value of the shares purchased under both
programs.

Details of the share purchase program for employees are set out in the stock
exchange release issued by the company 14 November 2014.

Leif Borge has bought 103 050 shares. Following the transaction; Borge either
personally or through Bohasi Invest AS holds 142 775 shares in Akastor

Benjamin K Golding has bought 6 608 shares. Following the transaction; Golding
holds 6 608 shares in Akastor

Idun Heier has bought 3 050 shares. Following the transaction, Heier holds
3 828 shares in Akastor

Eivind Høiback has bought 17 473 shares. Following the transaction; Høiback
holds 17 473 shares in Akastor

Karl Erik Kjelstad has through his company Byesvollen AS bought 100 000 shares.
Following the transaction; Kjelstad holds 123 074 shares in Akastor

Tore Langballe has bought 10 166 shares. Following the transaction; Langballe
holds 10 166 shares in Akastor. The shares will be transferred to his company
TDL Invest AS.

Øyvind Paaske has bought 5 083 shares. Following the transaction; Paaske holds
5 083 shares in Akastor

Asbjørn M Pettersen has bought 3 050 shares. Following the transaction;
Pettersen holds 3 050 shares in Akastor

Frank Reite has through his company Fausken Invest AS bought 100 000 shares.
Following the transaction; Reite holds 200 000 shares in Akastor

Nils Olav Svarstad has bought 1 017 shares. Following the transaction; Svarstad
holds 1 135 shares in Akastor
