DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS AND BASIS OF PRESENTATION [Abstract]
Basis of Presentation	Basis of Presentation The accompanying unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (“GAAP”) for interim financial statements and with the instructions to Form 10-Q and Article 8 of Regulation S-X. Accordingly, they do not include all of the information and footnotes required by GAAP for complete financial statements. In the opinion of management, the unaudited financial statements include all the normal recurring adjustments that are necessary for a fair presentation of the financial position, results of operations and cash flows for the periods presented. These condensed consolidated financial statements should be read together with the audited consolidated financial statements and notes thereto contained in Eterna’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2023 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on March 14, 2024, as amended by the Form 10-K/A filed with the SEC on March 18, 2024 (as amended, the “2023 10-K”). The accompanying condensed consolidated balance sheet as of December 31, 2023 has been derived from the audited financial statements contained in the 2023 10-K but does not include all of the information and footnotes required by GAAP for complete financial statements. The results of operations for the three months ended March 31, 2024 are not necessarily indicative of the results to be anticipated for the entire year ending December 31, 2024, or any other period.
