Aker BioMarine ASA – Update on the krill harvesting for 2023

15 September 2023: Aker BioMarine ASA (“Aker BioMarine” or “the company”) informs that its krill harvesting vessels have all returned to shipyard for scheduled upgrades and maintenance.

Total volumes year to date of 2023 were 49,800 MT, which is at the same level as the 49,500 MT produced in the same period last year. The vessels operated for another week before going to shipyard last year, for a total catch of 50,100 MT prior to shipyard.

The company expects the vessels to be back on fishing ground in Antarctica during the second half of November 2023. Based on historical daily catch volumes after shipyard, the company remains on track to deliver on a normalized harvesting year.
