RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT EXPENSES	The total research and development expenses recognized in the income statements during the three-month and six-month periods ended June 30, 2014 were $32,558 and $63,338, respectively, of which the consumption of bromine produced by the Company amounted to $8,574 and $17,508, respectively. The total research and development expenses recognized in the income statements during the three-month and six-month periods ended June 30, 2013 were $54,480 and $72,182, respectively, of which the consumption of bromine produced by the Company amounted to $12,461 and $18,582, respectively.
