ARRIBATEC APPOINTS GEIR JOHANSEN AS CFO

(Oslo, Norway, 18 March 2021) Arribatec Solutions ASA has appointed Geir Johansen as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 18 March 2021. In addition, Bente Brocks has taken up the role as Group Chief Accountant.

Geir Johansen takes up the position as CFO of Arribatec effective 18 March 2021 and comes from the position as CEO and CFO of Element ASA. Johansen has also served as CFO in Axactor AB and has held the CFO position at Fred. OIsen Ocean. Over the last 20 years, Johansen has lived and worked in the Americas, Europe as well as North and South East Asia having held position as CFO in DOF Subsea and S.D. Standard Drilling as well as the position as global finance director of DNV Maritime. Johansen holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the BI Norwegian Business School.

Additionally, Arribatec is pleased to announce that Bente Brocks has taken up the role as Group Chief Accountant in Arribatec. Brocks comes from the position as Group Chief Accountant in Axactor SE. Brock has extensive experience from finance positions in companies like Europark, Weifa and SinOceanic Shipping. Bente Brooks is a trained auditor from the University of Agder and has completed studies at NTNU.
