THE TRANSACTION BETWEEN AUSTEVOLL SEAFOOD ASA AND KVEFI AS IS CLEARED BY THE EU COMMISSION

We refer to stock exchange release dated 12 August,
2013 announcing that Austevoll Seafood ASA and Kvefi
AS (controlled by Kverva AS) have agreed on an
amalgamation of their respective activities within
pelagic fish meal, fish oil and consumer products in
Europe. As mentioned in the release the transaction
must be reported to the relevant competition
authorities. The transaction is now cleared by the EU
Commission, and also in other jurisdictions including
Norway. Clearances from authorities in certain
jurisdictions outside EEA are still in progress. As
notified the transaction will be executed shortly
post clearance with the remaining relevant
competition authorities.
