Awilco Drilling PLC (AWDR) announces that on 17 July, 2014, the following
synthetic share transactions occurred:

Jon Oliver Bryce, Chief Executive Officer, has exercised 124,416 synthetic share
options with a strike price of NOK 29 and 21,277 synthetic shares in AWDR under
the Synthetic Share Plan at a price of NOK 151.54. After this transaction Jon
Oliver Bryce holds 48,405 synthetic shares.

Roddy Smith, Executive Vice President, has exercised 43,723 synthetic share
options with a strike price of NOK 29 and 6,178 synthetic shares in AWDR under
the Synthetic Share Plan at a price of NOK 151.54. After this transaction Roddy
Smith holds 26,277 synthetic shares with a strike price of NOK 29 and 40,718
synthetic shares.

Ian Wilson, Chief Financial Officer, has exercised 56,309 synthetic share
options with a strike price of NOK 29 and 17,558 synthetic shares in AWDR under
the Synthetic Share Plan at a price of NOK 151.54. After this transaction Ian
Wilson holds 18,770 synthetic shares with a strike price of NOK 29 and 37,799
synthetic shares.

Gary Holman, Operations Director, has exercised 37,540 synthetic share options
with a strike price of NOK 29 and 11,707 synthetic shares in AWDR under the
Synthetic Share Plan at a price of NOK 151.54. After this transaction Gary
Holman holds 37,539 synthetic shares with a strike price of NOK 29 and 45,558
synthetic shares.

Claus Mørch, Technical Advisor, has exercised 90,095 synthetic share options
with a strike price of NOK 29 and 28,094 synthetic shares in AWDR under the
Synthetic Share Plan at a price of NOK 151.54. After this transaction Claus
Mørch holds 12,798 synthetic shares.
