On 28 March 2018, funds managed or otherwise deemed controlled by QVT Financial LP ("QVT") purchased an aggregate 445,000 shares in Awilco Drilling Plc ("Awilco Drilling") in the open market at a price of NOK 34.7 per share.
Following the aforementioned transactions, funds managed or otherwise deemed controlled by QVT hereafter own a total of 3,926,564 shares in Awilco Drilling, or 8.24% of the registered share capital. QVT's CEO and founder, Dan Gold, is a member of the board of directors of Awilco Drilling.
