Canadian Dollar principal deposits are held in a Canadian Dollar-denominated, interest-bearing demand account. The interest rate in effect as of April 30, 2017 was an annual nominal rate of 0.00%. For the six months ended April 30, 2017, there were Canadian Dollar principal deposits of 34,582,580 and Canadian Dollar principal redemptions of 49,401,310 and Canadian Dollar withdrawals (to pay expenses) of 457,219, resulting in an ending Canadian Dollar principal balance of 246,889,436. This equates to 180,567,129 USD. For the year ended October 31, 2016, there were Canadian Dollar principal deposits of 34,684,482 and Canadian Dollar principal redemptions of 54,486,305 and Canadian Dollar withdrawals (to pay expenses) of 1,085,107, resulting in an ending Canadian Dollar principal balance of 262,165,385.
