Borregaard: Repurchase of own shares

02.10.2013: Borregaard ASA ("Borregaard", OSE ticker: BRG)

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice from Borregaard on 26 July 2013
where Borregaard announced its intent to repurchase up to 1,270,000 of its
outstanding common stock.

Borregaard has today purchased 36 200 own shares on Oslo Børs at an average
price of NOK 26,6741 per share. This repurchase of shares is conducted in
accordance with the rules and regulations of the Oslo Stock Exchange for time-
scheduled repurchases of shares (cfr Børssirkulære 2/2008) and the proxy given
by its shareholders at the Ordinary General Meeting held on 15 April 2013. The
repurchase of shares will be conducted over a period of maximum two months, i.e.
up to 17 October 2013 at the latest.

Following the transaction Borregaard holds a total of 943 907 own shares,
representing 0,944% of total shares outstanding.
