Borregaard: Mandatory notification of trade - primary insider

Helge Aasen, shareholder-elected member of the board of Borregaard ASA (ticker:
"BRG"), has on 18 July 2018 acquired 1,300 shares in Borregaard ASA at a price
of NOK 73.80 per share. Following this transaction, Helge Aasen owns 1,300
shares in Borregaard ASA.

According to Borregaard's Annual meeting resolution, the board's shareholder-
elected members shall use 20% of their gross board remuneration to purchase
shares in the company until they own shares equal in value to one year's gross
board remuneration. The shares shall be retained for as long as the board member
serves on the board.
