CNP CYCLES awarded a contract in Italy

CNP CYCLES has been awarded a contract to supply process equipment for a new sludge treatment centre at the Salvatronda wastewater treatment plant in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy.

The treatment centre, owned by Alto Trevigiano Servizi, will handle sludge from 37 wastewater treatment plants serving 52 municipalities. It is financed in part through Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, supported by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU programme.

"The Salvatronda contract confirms the position CNP CYCLES has built in delivering sludge treatment solutions in Europe,” says Per Lillebø, CEO of Cambi. “As majority owner, Cambi is committed to supporting CNP CYCLES’ long-term development and growth."

CNP CYCLES will supply an alkaline hydrolysis system based on licensed technology to the main contractor for the treatment centre. The contract covers engineering, manufacturing and delivery of prefabricated process modules, as well as installation support and commissioning services, with the system integrated into the plant’s anaerobic digestion processes.

Equipment manufacturing will take place at CNP CYCLES’ facilities in Germany, with deliveries aligned to the construction schedule for the new sludge treatment centre in Salvatronda.

CNP CYCLES is majority owned by Cambi ASA, which holds 51% of the shares.
