UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, notified us on 8 June 2012 pursuant to section
25a WpHG of the following:
On 4 June 2012, UBS AG exceeded the threshold of 5% and 10% of the voting
rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 12.17% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 16,819,289 voting rights).
From these voting rights a proportion of 2.89% (equals 4,000,000 voting
rights) is based on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a
WpHG. From these voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a
WpHG a proportion of 0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly.
In addition, a proportion of 6.46% (equals 8,925,215 voting rights) is
based on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From
these voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a
proportion of 0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly.
In addition, a proportion of 2.82% (equals 3,894,074 voting rights) is
based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG.
The (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG are
